  • Cards at hotels and restaurants. Cash (SCR) for local shops.

Local know-how

  • Don't take coral, shells or marine life from beaches — illegal in Seychelles
  • Local SIM: Cable & Wireless (Seychelles Telecom), Airtel. Buy at Mahé airport.
  • Seychelles is generally very safe. Taxi prices are government-regulated but always confirm before departure
