Local know-how
- Don't take coral, shells or marine life from beaches — illegal in Seychelles
- Local SIM: Cable & Wireless (Seychelles Telecom), Airtel. Buy at Mahé airport.
- Seychelles is generally very safe. Taxi prices are government-regulated but always confirm before departure
