  • Return / onward flight tickets

  • Excellent hygiene throughout. All water from taps is pure.

  • Power adaptor: Type C/F plugs, 230V.

Money

  • Debit / credit cards
  • Local currency: Icelandic Króna (ISK)
  • Cards only — even small cafés. Iceland is nearly cashless.

Local know-how

  • Local SIM: Same as Reykjavík — Síminn or Vodafone Iceland. Buy at airport.
  • Unlicensed taxi or rideshare overcharging — agree the fare before entering or use a metered cab
