Sheki travel guide

Sheki is Azerbaijan's most atmospheric historic town, a UNESCO-listed Silk Road gem in the forested Caucasus foothills. The extraordinary Khan's Palace with its intricate shebeke (stained-glass latticework) and fresco-covered walls is the highlight, while the surrounding caravanserais, bazaars, and walnut-forested hills make it a compelling slow-travel destination. Famous for its pakhlava sweets and handmade silk.
