Nagarhole National Park (Rajiv Gandhi NP) is one of Karnataka's finest wildlife reserves — part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve contiguous with Bandipur and Mudumalai. Home to Bengal tigers, Indian leopards, Asian elephants, gaur, and dhole (Indian wild dog), it offers exceptional game drives in dense deciduous and bamboo forest.

8Nagarhole is genuinely wild. Never exit the safari vehicle. The Kabini reservoir sunset watching is one of India's greatest wildlife spectacles — elephant herds crossing in golden light.
