Very SafeGdańsk is safe and one of Poland's most beautiful historic cities. The Royal Road (Długa Street), Motława River waterfront, and Stare Miasto (Old Town) are all safe and charming. Main precaution: late-night bar district around Stągi Polskie and Jarmark Dominikański can be rowdy. Gdańsk Central Station surrounds should be navigated efficiently at night.
