very safeThe ancient site of Delphi is an archaeological wonder and entirely safe. The only hazards are physical — the terraced archaeological site has uneven ancient stone paths and significant drops on the hillside. Sensible footwear required. Summer heat at the open site can be severe — avoid the midday 12–4pm period. Delphi town (Delfi modern village) above the ruins is a tiny, sleepy place with zero crime. Emergency: 100, 112.
